Musikstil<\/h2>\n

Es ist kein Metal, es ist kein Blues, bedient sich jedoch aus den genannten Genres. Die meisten Einfl\u00fcsse kommen aus dem Hardrock Ende der 70er. Die Besetzung ist Rock-Standard: Zwei Lead-Gitarren, Bass, Gesang, Schlagzeug. Kennzeichen ist die klare, oft synchron gespielte Melodief\u00fchrung und – in Anleihe an Metal – die Riff-Orientierung der Lieder.<\/p>\n

Warum Forest Between Ages?<\/h2>\n

Der Probenraum liegt in Krefeld im Stadtteil Forstwald. Im angrenzenden gleichnamigen Waldgel\u00e4nde wurden beim Lauftraining einige musikalische Ideen entwickelt. Wald und Natur wird auch in einigen Liedtexten thematisiert. Die Alterspanne der Musiker erstreckt sich von 30 bis 66 Jahren und ist deutlich generationen\u00fcbergreifend. Die Liedtexte sind englisch. so entstand der Name Forest Between Ages.<\/p>\n

Music style
\nIt’s not metal, it’s not blues, but it draws on both genres. Most of the influences are recognisable from late 70s hard rock. The line-up is standard rock: two lead guitars, bass, vocals, drums. The hallmarks are the clear, often synchronised melodies and \u2013 borrowing from metal \u2013 the riff orientation.<\/p>\n

Why Forest Between Ages?
\nThe rehearsal room is located in Krefeld in the „Forstwald“ district. Some musical ideas were developed during running training in the adjacent forest of the same name „Forstwald“. The forest and nature are also themes in some of the lyrics. The musicians range in age from 30 to 65 and clearly span generations. The lyrics are in English, which is how the name Forest Between Ages came about.<\/p>\n
