Der Hummelnistkasten hat ein Innenvolumen von etwa 8,5 Liter, die Au\u00dfenw\u00e4nde aus 3,5 cm Polyurethan erleichtern der Hummelk\u00f6nigin den Start in das Brutgesch\u00e4ft.<\/em><\/p>\n<h2>Materialien<\/h2>\n<p>Ben\u00f6tigt werden:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Eine MiniPlus-Zarge aus Kunststoff (Imkereibedarf)<\/li>\n<li>Einen verzinkten Metalldeckel aus dem Imkereibedarf als Wetterschutz. Es gen\u00fcgt aber auch ein \u00fcberstehendes Brett aus Siebdruck-Karrosseriesperrholz oder eien kleine Haube aus Teichfolie.<\/li>\n<li>Zwei OSB-Platten (z.B. 3,5 cm dick) 28cmx28cm<\/li>\n<li>Eine XPS-Platte (z.B. 2 cm dick) aus dem Baumarkt<\/li>\n<li>etwa 40 cm geriffelter Elektroinstallationsschlauch (2,5 cm Durchmesser)<\/li>\n<li>Etwas Kleintierstreu f\u00fcr die Innenausstattug. Es funktioniert auch Putzwolle<\/li>\n<li>Tierhaare (oder Kapok) f\u00fcr einen kleines Vornest<\/li>\n<li>Kabelbinder, um den Installationsschlauch zu befestigen.<\/li>\n<li>Kunststoffabdeckfolie aus dem Imkereibedarf, wenn man Sichtfenster einbauen m\u00f6chte.<\/li>\n<li>Holzleim, um XPS auf Holz zu kleben.<\/li>\n<li>Wer kein Risiko eingehen will: eine Hummelklappe gegen Wachsmotten (Googeln f\u00fchrt auf die Seiten von Hummelexperten Harry Abraham)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2>Werkzeug<\/h2>\n<p>Sinnvolle Werkzeuge sind:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>eine Standbohrmaschine<\/li>\n<li>Topfbohrer 3,5 cm (oder F\u00f6rstnerbohrer) f\u00fcr die Durchf\u00fchrung des Installationsrohres<\/li>\n<li>Ein guter teflonbeschichteter Fuchsschwanz<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Bauzeit<\/h2>\n<p>Ein ge\u00fcbter Heimwerker sollte den Kasten in unter drei Stunden gebaut haben.<\/p>\n<h2>Zusammenbau<\/h2>\n<p>Der Aufbau ist denkbar einfach und kann dem Video entnommen werden.<br \/>\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OykrmhP1u-g\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nDer meiste Aufwand in dem hier gezeigten Kasten lag in den Ausschnitten f\u00fcr die Beobachtungsm\u00f6glichkeiten. F\u00fcr die Beobachtung soll die gleiche Video-Technik wie aus dem von der Heinz-Sielmann-Stiftung gef\u00f6rderten Projekt naturWatch HN\u00a0 eingesetzt werden. Die gro\u00dfen Bohrungen werden mit einem 8 cm Topfbohrer erstellt, so dass die Halterungen f\u00fcr die Raspbery Pi Kamera hineinpassen.
